SwiftGrab Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
SwiftGrab is a bulk image downloader for Chrome, made by Signal & Runway. It runs entirely on your computer. This policy is short because there is very little to say: SwiftGrab does not collect your data.
What we collect
- Images and pages you grab: Nothing. Images are downloaded straight from the website to your own computer. They never pass through our servers.
- Browsing activity: Not read, not stored, not sent. The page scan runs only when you press "Scan this page" and its results stay in the popup.
- Personal information: None. No account, no sign-up, no email address, no name is asked for or stored.
- Analytics and tracking: None. SwiftGrab contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
The one network call
- Pro license check: If you buy or use SwiftGrab Pro, the extension checks your license with ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com). That check confirms paid status only. It does not include the pages you visit, the images you download, or any personal details.
- Paying for Pro: Payment is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Your filter settings and license state are kept in Chrome's own storage on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes them.
Why each permission exists
- Downloads - to save the images and ZIP files you choose to your computer.
- activeTab and scripting - to scan the current page for images, only when you press the scan button.
- Website access (all URLs) - to fetch image files directly from whichever site you are downloading them from.
- Storage - to remember your filter settings and Pro status on your device.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version replaces this page and the date above moves.
